The 2024 Season is now upon us. It has been great to see the numbers of members, both young and old, that have been training hard for the upcoming season. For some teams, the games have already commenced; for others, the commencement date is not far away. I look forward to the Club fielding many teams again this year across Juvenile and Adult Football, Hurling and Camogie.

With a substantial increase in players over the last few years, there has been extra pressure on limited playing space over the Winter months, and I extend my gratitude to all the players, coaches and parents for their patience, co-operation and understanding. I must note and thank the Grounds Committee for significant work over the off-season, preparing the grounds for training and games. In particular, our main pitch is in spectacular condition. The Club has also been developing its own Gym space, which is close to completion. Once opened, the Club gym will be available for members to use.

However, these developments give rise to considerable costs. The income generated from membership fees forms a crucial part of the club’s finances. Alongside the Grounds and Club Development, your membership covers affiliation fees, entry into tournaments and access to the Injury Benefit Fund. Thank you to the 249 members that have paid their 2024 membership to date.

As such, I wish to ask all members that memberships are paid by March 31st.

For those wishing to avail of the installments option, the membership should be purchased, and the first installment paid, by March 31st .
