A Chairde,
It is with great delight and excitement that I can announce the 2025 team entries for Wanderers.
This year will see us fielding 25 separate teams, from U8 to Adult, in Football, Hurling and Camogie. That’s not even including our ever-growing Nursery!
Of particular note is that the Club will field Minor teams in both Ladies and Men’s football this year. This is the first year that a Wanderers Minor Ladies team will run out in Frank Kelly Park since 1996. Similarly, 2025 is the first year that Wanderers will field a Male Minor Team in 31 years! This is testament to the hard work and commitment put into the club by many volunteers throughout the preceding years and decades. Their endeavour has laid a strong, progressive foundation for this club to continue to prosper and develop, evident in the 100s of players that will don the Black & Red in 2025.
I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who volunteers their time in any way to the club. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to continue to provide Gaelic Games to our local community. In particular, many thanks and good luck to the coaches that will be on the sidelines for the year ahead!
